Prostabrit is a processed extract of pollen from ryegrass plants, (allergy sufferers need not worry, it will not affect them). Clinical studies, both here and abroad, have shown that Prostabrit can have a direct beneficial effect on prostate tissue.

Prostabrit, sold as Cernilton in some countries and also a prescribed medicine in many, is not available in the UK from your GP on the NHS. Some medics are backing the clinical studies however. For instance Senior Lecturer in Urology, Mr Julian Shah brought together some seven studies covering over 3,000 cases for an article in the journal "Complementary Therapies in Medicine" to show the effectiveness of complementary medicines. In particular he mentioned the potential of Prostabrit to improve symptoms in patients with prostatic obstruction and chronic prostatitis.

He concluded by saying, "In many cases, whilst symptoms of benign prostatic disease are frustrating, the condition is not bad enough to require surgery, for these men, a natural product, particularly one free from unwanted side effects could have considerable advantages and help improve their quality of life".

Because of this medical support and clinical studies the PHA have arranged discounts for this product. They are available to subscribers to the PHA Newsletters. Subscribe to the Newsletters.
